The Lower Keys doesn’t have an abundance of motels, but there are a few. There are several waterfront Bed and Breakfasts on Big Pine, some of them spectacular. Good campsites and fishing camps are also available. The forty-five minute drive through the stretches of blue sky and serene tropical water between Big Pine and Key West will only add to the enjoyment of staying in this beautiful area of the Florida Keys. |

The Lower Keys are really a bedroom community for Key West. People who enjoy the activities that only Key West can offer often find accommodations outside of town, where it is quieter and lower
